My husband and I married in 2001. He is a videographer and films action sports and corporate video projects as well as weddings, etc. In August of 2008 our daughter Piper was born. My hobbies include snowboarding, mountain biking, dancing, weight lifting and travel when time permits. I was raised to do whatever it takes to make myself happy so that is how I have lead my life. It makes me happy to have my own business and know that I am helping others through massage therapy to become happier in their own lives. I like to see people at their physical, mental and emotional best and even more so, I love to help them reach their goals to get them there. It is a great feeling when you help ease someone's pain and enable them to lead a life free of physical hindrances. Qualifications:
Education: Massage Therapy has been a regulated health care profession in BC since 1946. British Columbians receive the highest quality of care available because the RMT designation means the therapist adheres to strict practice and ethical standards. RMTs in BC must meet the most stringent educational and professional standards in North America. To become an RMT in BC, students must complete at least 3000 hours of training over three years at an accredited college. In comparison, a university bachelor degree typically averages 1500 hours over four years. Upon completion of the 3000 hour program, students must then pass BC licensing exams in order to maintain their license.
