About Paul Cotton Films

Paul Cotton Films is one of the Okanagan’s oldest video production companies and we specialize in telling stories. It may be your story, your business’s message in a story, a story about your product or service or a story of why we should all do something extraordinary. We love stories and we love working with people who are passionate about their stories.

Located in Kelowna, British Columbia we serve clients both locally and internationally. Many of our clients require corporate video production projects but we also thrive on taking on new challenges and opportunities while building strong relationships with our clients. We’ve worked on music videos, branding strategies, mountain peaks, ridiculous satires and olympic dreams. From hypnotists at funeral conventions to Mercedes Benz car commercials.

What separates us from other production houses is that most projects are completed entirely by Paul Cotton - just one guy. This means from the first discovery phase of your project, to it’s completion, we maintain the focus on delivering your message precisely and efficiently. We can help guide you through the process or take direction to give you the product that best suits your vision and budget.

There are many benefits to working with Paul Cotton Films. Over the years we have refined our services to streamline every phase of the production process from a financial and time point of view. That might mean taking an extra minute to properly log or keyword a video clip or offering timely advice that will prove useful in another phase of the production process. Maybe shoot a snippet for your social media on the side. You also get access to a huge library of pre-shot media including spectacular time lapse imagery, scenery, and emotion invoking footage. Our knowledge paired with our enthusiasm means we can offer creativity that’s unexpected.

About Paul

Paul Cotton was born and raised in the Okanagan. His happy place is the outdoors in all seasons. When not charging batteries and making clients look good he can most often be seen with a big pack which is slightly too small and too much camera gear. His preferred method of transportation is by ski, road bike or hiking boot. His type likes speed, people, peaceful nature, co-ed hockey, guitar, cheese, humour and family. He struggles with rudeness and heights but excels socially and diplomatically.
